The original Cotabato Province known as the Empire Province of Cotabato used to be the largest in the country in terms of land area. On November 22, 1973, Presidential Decree 341 created the new provinces of Sultan Kudarat and Maguindanao. South Cotabato was segregated and what used to be north Cotabato was renamed Cotabato under Batas Pambansa 660 on December 19, 1983. The word ""Cotabato"" is derived from the Maguindanaon ""Kutawato"" or ""Stone Fort.""Dialects mostly spoken are Hiligaynon, Cebuano, Maguindanao, Ilocano, Tagalog, and the ethnic tribe dialects of the province.

Asik- asik Falls

Thanks to the majestic Asik-Asik Falls for a promise of a brighter tourism landscape for this part of Mindanao. Asik-Asik Falls or Dulao Falls for the locals is situated in Sitio Dulao of Barangay Upper Dado, Alamada, North Cotabato. It is nested in the lower slope of Mount Ragang, also called as Mount Piapayungan or Blue Mountain, an active strato-volcano that sits in the boundary of Lanao del Sur and North Cotabato. There are various tales and side stories of the discovery of this natural wonder. Some say that it was accidentally discovered by military during a clearing operations, while other say that locals already know the place ever since. The latter seems more true and probable, a beauty of such grandeur would have been impossible to have gone unnoticed. The locals probably just kept it as secret or ignored it thinking it was just a normal scene






New Israel

Upon your arrival to the finish line, a photographer is waiting for you ready to capture the moment of your experience that are printable. They will also post it to their Facebook account the following days. They also had souvenir items and shirts and stores where you can buy personal things and needs. They also have restaurant with Pinoy dishes. New Israel has two stations of zipline, the first which has 1kilometer and the second of 1.3 kilometer. 


Pisan Falls






Waterfalls is defined as a place where water flows over the edge of a steep cliff or rocks and falls into a pool below or a  mass of flowing water rapidly dropping over a steep cliff.

Pisan falls is  best defined as place where water flows not from a steep cliff but from an underground river.  Its wide pool serves as the head stream of  the  water that flows along the irrigation canal of Barangay Pisan, Kabacan, North Cotabato.










Lake Agco

It's a steaming blue lake where hot and cold springs converge at an elevation of 4,200 feet above sea level (you could boil eggs on the lake). Lake Agco is in Brgy. Ilomavis which is around 2 hours from Kidapawan City proper.


You can enjoy experience the nature gift cold and warm water.




Mahomanoy Mountain Resort





The resort started in 2003 with just one pool. With the growing local and foreign visitors each year, more pools were developed by the local IP community using the heat from nearby hotsprings and Agco lake. The resort is located at Agco, Ilomavis, Kidapawan City.

Zamboanga City

Zamboanga City (ChavacanoCiudad de Zamboanga) is a highly urbanized city located in MindanaoPhilippines. It has a population of 861,799 people as of the 2015 census census. Zamboanga City is the 6th most populous and 3rd largest city by land area in the Philippines. It is the commercial and industrial center of the Zamboanga Peninsula Region. Zamboanga City is an independent city, chartered and Zamboanga became an highly urbanized city on November 22, 1983, and not part of or was never part in any of the three provinces in Zamboanga Peninsula.

Fort Pilar


Fort Pilar (2008).jpgThe Real Fuerza de Nuestra SeƱora del Pilar de Zaragoza (Royal Fort of Our Lady of the Pillar of Zaragoza), also Fort Pilar, is a 17th-century military defense fortress built by the Spanish colonial government in Zamboanga City,Philippines. The fort, which is now a regional museum of the National Museum of the Philippines, is a major landmark of the city and symbol of its cultural heritage. Outside the eastern wall is a Marian shrine dedicated to Our Lady of the Pillar, the patroness of the city.

Great Santa Cruz Island



Great Santa Cruz Island is a small inhabited island in Zamboanga City in the southern region of the Philippines that is famous for its pink coralline sand. The island, located 4 kilometers (2.49 mi) south of downtown at the Santa Cruz Bank in the Basilan Strait, boasts the only pink sand beach in the Philippines. The color of the sand comes from the pulverized red organ pipe coral from eons of surf erosion mixed with the white sand.




Pasonanca Park


Pasonanca Park is a public park located in Pasonanca in Zamboanga City,Philippines.The park has 3 public pools. It boasts an Olympic size swimming pool, a natural flowing pool and a children's pool with water slides. There are also lots of picnic areas.
This is a garden park named after the late mayor Maria Clara Lobregat. The park consists of floral and butterfly species such as orchids, roses and colorful butterflies surrounding the garden. It also has an aviary park for the avian species such as parrots, turkeys, and eagles among the birds.


Cawa-Cawa Boulevard

Cawa-Cawa Boulevard – Watching the sunset is much better when done on Cawa-Cawa Boulevard, also called R.T. Lim Boulevard. Some activities people also do here include running, jogging, enjoying picnics and simply hanging out with their loved ones.
